Getting into tabletop wargaming requires a shocking amount of investment – demanding time, skill, and money. I want everyone who is interested to have the ability to get involved and play without breaking the bank. Tabletop gaming of any kind should not put stress on anyone’s finances.

What I am doing is filling the gap between playing with scratch-built models and terrain – an approach which requires immense amounts of time, skill, and artistic vision – and store-bought top tier products with price tags that make the eyes water. Over the last 10 years I’ve expanded my experience and knowledge of various model scales, miniature manufacturers, rule books, genres, and painting styles. I organise regular tabletop events, I’ve built terrain boards for my friends and written campaign stories for both wargames and roleplaying games. I care about the world around the game as much as the game itself.

Even with all my experience, I find the sheer breadth and variety in what is available mind-boggling at times – there is little I love more in helping expand my horizons.
